2026 Design Heritage – Invasão Corinthiana 50 Years
On December 5, 1976, over 70,000 Corinthians fans traveled from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro for the Brazilian Championship semi-final against Fluminense at Maracanã – one of the largest fan migrations in football history. Corinthians won on penalties and reached the final.
The 2026/27 home kit celebrates the 50th anniversary of this legendary movement. The cream/off-white base recreates the shirt worn that historic day. The retro 1970s crest returns after decades. The back collar features special commemorative text: “INVA5Ã0 1976 – SÃO PAULO – RIO DE JANEIRO – 2026”.
